ABU DHABI: The Muslim Council of Elders, led by His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, has affirmed that Zayed Humanitarian Day embodies the highest values of giving, tolerance, and human fraternity. This day honors the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, whose life was devoted to spreading compassion, peace, mercy, and solidarity across all communities.
Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary-General of the Muslim Council of Elders, emphasized that Zayed Humanitarian Day is an important occasion to reflect on the profound humanitarian legacy left by Sheikh Zayed. As the Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed transformed the nation into a beacon of compassion, tolerance, and human fraternity, offering support to those in need around the world.
Abdelsalam highlighted that Sheikh Zayed’s enduring humanitarian work continues to inspire and guide global advocates of kindness, peace, and coexistence. He also noted that the UAE, under its wise leadership, remains committed to following in the footsteps of its visionary founder through initiatives and projects that promote goodwill and unity worldwide.
