World Governments Summit 2027 to take place in Dubai from February 1 to 3

Dubai will host the World Governments Summit 2027 from February 1 to February 3. Leaders and experts from many countries will meet to share ideas and improve how governments work. The event will focus on the future of government, new technology, and global cooperation.
The UAE leadership supports the summit as part of its plan to build better governments and stronger partnerships between countries. The summit helps leaders learn from each other and find solutions to global challenges. It also promotes smart planning and long-term growth.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the World Governments Summit, said the event helps governments prepare for fast global changes. He said cooperation between nations is now more important than ever. The summit gives leaders one place to meet, talk, and plan action.
He explained that the World Governments Summit has become a major global platform for government innovation. Many countries use ideas from past summits to improve their policies and services.
Dubai hosted the World Governments Summit 2026 from February 3 to 5. The event saw the highest attendance in its history. More than 6,250 people joined the summit.
The 2026 summit welcomed over 60 heads of state and government. More than 500 ministers also took part. Representatives from over 150 governments attended. Speakers held more than 445 sessions and discussions.
More than 700 company CEOs joined the event. Scientists, Nobel Prize winners, and researchers also attended. Global groups and universities took part as well. The program included 25 global forums and over 45 high-level ministerial meetings.
Key topics included leadership, community wellbeing, economic growth, future cities, and new global opportunities. Organizers released 36 research reports with help from international partners. The summit also ran the Global Ministers Survey to help improve public policy.
The World Governments Summit 2027 in Dubai will continue this work. It will focus on practical ideas, global teamwork, and better government services for people everywhere.
