World Governments Summit 2026 Partners Focus on Future and People’s Wellbeing

Dubai, January 16, 2026 – Partners of the World Governments Summit 2026 said the summit remains a major global platform for shaping future government policies and improving people’s happiness and quality of life. The World Governments Summit 2026 will be held in Dubai from February 3 to 5. Speaking at a dialogue at the Museum of the Future, partners said the event brings together world leaders, experts, and innovators to share ideas, build cooperation, and support sustainable development across key sectors. Major partners include Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Municipality, DP World, Dubai Chambers, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, and e& UAE. Mattar Al Tayer of RTA said the summit helps turn ideas into real projects. He announced that Dubai will launch air taxis later this year and introduce driverless taxis in partnership with Baidu. Visitors to the summit will be able to ride self-driving vehicles on selected routes. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer of DEWA said Dubai is moving quickly toward clean energy and net-zero emissions by 2050. He highlighted the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park and said clean energy will make up more than 36 percent of Dubai’s energy mix by 2030. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori of Dubai Chambers said the summit strengthens global business and trade cooperation. TDRA Director-General Majid Al Mesmar added that digital government, artificial intelligence, and data-driven decisions are key to better services and improved quality of life. Dubai Municipality Director-General Marwan bin Ghalita said the summit helps shape smart and sustainable cities, in line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan. DP World, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, and e& UAE also stressed the summit’s role in supporting global trade, development projects, digital innovation, and future-ready governments. The World Governments Summit 2026 continues to play a key role in building smarter governments and a better future for people worldwide.
