Washington: On Saturday, the United States said it will stop charging extra fees on some electronics from China. These include phones, computers, and internet devices like routers.
These products were going to get extra taxes of up to 125%, but now they are safe from those charges. The US government shared this news in a note from the US Customs and Border Protection.
This is the first time in a while that the US has made a friendlier move toward China. In the past, there were a lot of tough rules and taxes between the two countries. Just recently, the US also delayed more big taxes on other countries for 90 days.
If people have more questions about this change, they are being told to talk to the US International Trade Commission.
