UAE’s Next50 Initiative Explores Investment Opportunities in New Economy Sectors

Abu Dhabi: The Next50 initiative, launched by Investopia and EMIR, held its second meeting in Abu Dhabi during the Investopia 2025 event. The meeting focused on helping UAE companies explore investment opportunities in new economy sectors such as fintech, healthcare, tourism, and finance.

The roundtable was attended by more than 19 UAE companies, along with Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, the UAE’s Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia, and Hassan El Khatib, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.

Supporting UAE’s Vision for Future Growth

Minister Bin Touq highlighted the important role of the private sector in achieving the UAE’s ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision, which aims to raise the country’s GDP to AED 3 trillion within the next decade.

He stressed that the Next50 initiative helps UAE companies find and benefit from new investment opportunities, both locally and globally. The goal is to build stronger economic partnerships and expand into regional and international markets.

Boosting Global Investment Ties

The meeting also served as a platform for strengthening UAE-Egypt economic relations. Minister El Khatib shared key investment opportunities in Egypt, emphasizing the country’s economic reforms and infrastructure development. He invited UAE businesses to invest in Egypt’s growing sectors.

Driving Innovation and Sustainable Growth

Next50 is part of Investopia’s efforts to encourage innovation, sustainable growth, and economic diversification. Through global events and dialogues, Investopia connects investors and companies across the UAE, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

The initiative helps UAE companies participate in major investment events and build partnerships with banks, investment funds, and economic organizations to get the support they need for future projects.
