UAE’s Calidus Wraps Up Successful Participation at IDEX 2025

Abu Dhabi: Calidus Group, a leading UAE-based defense manufacturer, successfully concluded its role as a principal sponsor at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX 2025) and Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX 2025) in Abu Dhabi. During the five-day event, Calidus introduced several groundbreaking defense technologies, including:
- New 8×8 Armored Vehicle – Designed to withstand extreme conditions, this high-tech eight-wheel-drive vehicle is the first of its kind in the region.
- MATV004 and MATV001 – These armored vehicles offer superior protection while maintaining high mobility. The MATV004 is integrated with the Al Heda missile system and other advanced defense solutions.
- “Barq” Rocket Launcher System – Features high mobility, powerful firepower, and advanced technology for enhanced battlefield performance.
- Reconnaissance Vehicle – A four-wheel-drive system equipped with modern surveillance technologies for superior maneuverability.
- 35mm Burj Turret System – A dual-barrel close-range air defense system mounted on the Wahash 8×8 vehicle.
- 155mm Lahab Turret Artillery System – The first of its kind in the region, enhancing long-range firepower capabilities.
