ABU DHABI: The General Civil Aviation Authority has announced that special flights are now operating at airports across the UAE to help passengers who were stranded because of recent regional events.

The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) said these exceptional flights will allow affected travelers to leave the country based on new schedules that airlines will share directly with their passengers. Airlines will contact travelers with updated flight times and destination details.

The authority asked passengers not to go to the airport unless their airline has contacted them and confirmed their new flight details. Officials warned that going to the airport without confirmation may cause crowding and delays.

The GCAA thanked passengers for their cooperation and said following the instructions is very important. It helps airport staff manage flights smoothly and keeps everything organized.

Passengers are advised to check their email, phone messages, or airline apps regularly for updates.
