Abu Dhabi: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed US President Donald Trump to Abu Dhabi today during an official state visit.
The warm welcome took place at Qasr Al Watan, the UAE’s presidential palace. When President Trump arrived, he was greeted with a special ceremony. There were guards on horses, a parade of camels, and traditional Emirati music and dancing. Young students from space camps, astronauts, and space engineers also joined the event to show the UAE’s strong interest in space and science. Their presence showed how the country supports learning and growth for everyone.
Sheikh Mohamed and President Trump stood together while the national anthems of both countries were played. Soldiers gave a 21-gun salute, and children waved UAE and US flags along the red carpet. President Trump also visited a space exhibition called “Guided by the Stars.” The exhibition tells the story of the UAE’s space journey and honors the late Sheikh Zayed, who dreamed of exploring space.
To celebrate the visit, US flags and welcome signs were placed all around Abu Dhabi, especially on the roads from the Presidential Airport to the palace. Many top UAE leaders were present to welcome President Trump, along with a team of US officials who traveled with him. This visit shows the strong friendship between the UAE and the United States.
