UAE President Visits Albania to Strengthen Friendship and Cooperation

UAE, Arab Times News: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Albania on July 16, 2025, and met with Prime Minister Edi Rama in Tirana. They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the UAE and Albania in areas like trade, clean energy, food security, and technology.
Both leaders agreed to work closely to bring benefits to their countries and support peace and stability around the world. Sheikh Mohamed said the UAE sees Albania as an important partner in the Balkans.
During the visit, Prime Minister Rama awarded Sheikh Mohamed the Benemerenti Medal, Albania’s highest honor, for his role in building strong ties between the two nations.
The UAE President was joined by several top officials, and he was welcomed at Tirana International Airport by Prime Minister Rama and other senior leaders.
