ABU DHABI: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met a group of Emirati officials who took part in the First UAE Second-Tier Leadership Executive Programme in China. The special leadership programme was held under the theme “Bridging Nations, Building Leaders.”

The meeting took place at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. The delegation shared what they learned during their visit to China and explained how the programme helped them gain new leadership and future skills.

The leadership programme was created to support Emirati talent and prepare the next generation of government and national leaders. It gives participants a chance to study global success models and learn from experts in different fields. It also supports the UAE’s goal of building strong friendships and cultural cooperation with other countries for shared growth and prosperity.

The UAE President thanked the teams and organisations that arranged the programme. He said such initiatives are important because they help develop skilled leaders who can build strong partnerships between the UAE and the rest of the world.

The participants thanked the UAE leadership for supporting national talent and giving them learning opportunities abroad. They said the China programme helped them understand new ideas in government work, innovation, sustainable economic growth, education, technology, artificial intelligence, and creative industries.

They added that the experience improved their ability to work in future-focused sectors and support the UAE’s long-term development plans. Several sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, and guests also attended the meeting.
