UAE President Meets Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid at Al Marmoom in Dubai

Dubai, March 18, 2025 – His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, met today with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, at Al Marmoom in Dubai. The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court.

During their meeting, the leaders exchanged warm and brotherly discussions. They expressed their hopes that the holy month of Ramadan would bring blessings, prosperity, and peace to the UAE and its people. The leaders also prayed for the continued strength, progress, and development of the nation.

The discussion focused on key national issues, including strategies to advance the UAE’s development vision, further its prosperity, and meet the aspirations of its citizens. The leaders also emphasized the UAE’s commitment to humanitarian efforts and the global initiatives driven by its humanitarian institutions to empower communities and support sustainable development worldwide.

Iftar Banquet Hosted in Honor of the President

Following the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum hosted an iftar banquet in honor of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. The event was attended by a number of senior figures, including:

• His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence
• His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance
• His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai
• His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs
• His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs
• His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs
• Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President

Several other senior officials were also present at the meeting and the iftar banquet.

The meeting and celebrations highlighted the UAE’s continued commitment to its values of progress, unity, and humanitarian efforts.
