Osaka: The UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka has reached an amazing milestone, welcoming its three millionth visitor since opening in April. This makes it one of the most visited and loved pavilions at the Expo.
The Pavilion, built under the theme “Earth to Ether,” tells the story of the UAE’s rich history and bright future. Visitors explore creative displays that connect tradition with modern innovation, offering an experience full of learning and discovery.
To celebrate the milestone, the Pavilion team greeted guests with warmth and joy, a quality that has made the Pavilion a favorite for many people around the world.
The Pavilion’s Youth Ambassadors, along with the wider team, have played a key role in its success. They share stories, lead conversations, and create real cultural connections that make every visit memorable.
Shihab Alfaheem, UAE Ambassador to Japan and Commissioner General of the Pavilion, said: “Reaching three million visitors is a proud moment. It shows how strongly the UAE’s story connects with the world. With two months left, we want even more people to enjoy what we have to offer.”
The Pavilion was designed by the Earth to Ether Design Collective, a team of UAE, Japanese, and international partners. Its design, made from sustainable materials like palm waste, has been praised for creativity and eco-friendly construction. The 90 unique columns, inspired by date palms, highlight the UAE’s connection to nature and progress.
Inside, visitors explore five different zones covering space exploration, healthcare innovation, sustainable technologies, and Emirati cultural heritage. The use of interactive displays, sensory design, and storytelling creates an unforgettable journey.
Beyond its exhibits, the Pavilion is a lively cultural hub. Daily programs include expert talks, creative workshops, Emirati food tastings, and art performances. Many visitors have returned more than once, showing how strong the Pavilion’s impact has been.
With Expo 2025 running until October 13, the UAE Pavilion continues to invite the world to explore the UAE’s values of creativity, diversity, and a shared future for all.
