UAE Offers Condolences and Support to Flood-Stricken Kenya
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expressed its solidarity with Kenya following devastating floods that caused casualties and widespread damage.
Heavy rains across Kenya resulted in severe flooding, including a dam collapse in the central town of Mai Mahiu. This tragic event claimed the lives of at least 46 people, as reported by Kenya’s Ministry of Interior.
UAE Extends Condolences and Support
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the UAE conveyed its sincere condolences to the Kenyan government, people, and the families of the victims. The statement further expressed the UAE’s solidarity with Kenya during this difficult time. As of Tuesday, rescue efforts continue for at least 91 people reported missing due to the widespread flooding.
