UAE National Pavilion Draws Global Defence Leaders on Opening Day of Eurosatory 2026 in Paris

PARIS, France: The UAE National Pavilion welcomed thousands of visitors and top defence officials on the first day of Eurosatory 2026, one of the world’s biggest defence and security exhibitions, being held in Paris.
The event, which runs until June 19 at the Parc des Expositions de Villepinte, brings together leading defence companies, military officials, and decision-makers from around the world. Since its launch in 1967, Eurosatory has become a major global platform for defence and security cooperation.
The UAE’s participation is supported by the UAE Ministry of Defence and Tawazun Council and organized by ADNEC Group, a company under Modon. The country’s presence highlights its growing role in international defence partnerships and advanced security technologies.
On the opening day, the UAE National Pavilion welcomed the UAE Military Delegation and several high-level guests. Among them was Abdellatif Loudiyi, Morocco’s Minister Delegate in charge of the National Defense Administration. The pavilion also received senior military leaders and international delegations from various countries.
Visitors showed strong interest in the latest defence technologies and solutions presented by leading UAE companies, including EDGE Group, Resource Industries, and Emirates Cable Corporation Interconnect.
A major highlight of the first day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between EDGE Group and Safran, one of the world’s leading aircraft equipment manufacturers. The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in defence and security technologies. EDGE also attracted attention for its advanced solutions across air, land, sea, cyber, and space sectors.
The UAE National Pavilion recorded strong activity on the first day, welcoming 3,120 visitors and hosting 118 business meetings. These meetings focused on future partnerships, technology cooperation, and strengthening ties between UAE organizations and international defence companies.
Meanwhile, Capital Events, the event management arm of ADNEC Group, held several meetings to promote upcoming defence exhibitions in the UAE. These include the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) 2027, the Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2027, the International Defence Conference 2027, and future unmanned systems and training exhibitions scheduled for 2028.
Interest in IDEX and NAVDEX 2027 was high among exhibitors and visitors at Eurosatory. Organizers expect the upcoming editions to be the largest in the history of the events, further strengthening the UAE’s position as a global hub for defence, security, and military technology.
