UAE Ministry of Finance Celebrates Innovation Month with Special Event

Dubai, February 28, 2025 – The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) hosted a special event in Dubai to celebrate UAE Innovation Month 2025. The event, titled “Ministry of Finance Innovates—Innovation Journey,” aimed to boost creativity, digital transformation, and collaboration in the financial sector.

Encouraging Innovation in Finance

The event created an interactive platform for participants to explore new ideas, solve challenges, and develop innovative financial solutions. Discussions focused on:
Enhancing digital transformation to improve efficiency
Encouraging creative problem-solving in finance
Fostering collaboration between government and private sectors
Promoting sustainability through innovation

The event was attended by Younis Haji AlKhoori, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, along with assistant undersecretaries, department heads, employees, and strategic partners.

Commitment to Innovation and Progress

AlKhoori emphasized the importance of innovation in shaping the UAE’s financial future:

“The UAE Innovation Month reflects the spirit of creativity and progress that defines our nation. At the Ministry of Finance, we believe that innovation is not just a tool but a necessity for achieving leadership and sustainability.”

He encouraged participants to embrace new ideas and technologies to accelerate digital transformation and improve public finance strategies.

Interactive “Innovation Experience Journey” Launched

As part of the event, the Ministry of Finance introduced the “Innovation Experience Journey,” a hands-on initiative designed to:
🔹 Encourage creative thinking through interactive activities
🔹 Promote collaboration between employees and partners
🔹 Transform ideas into real-world solutions

The journey includes five key stages, each designed to help participants explore innovative approaches, challenge traditional methods, and drive meaningful change.

Fatima Yousif Al Naqbi, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector, highlighted that innovation is an ongoing process, not a one-time effort:

“At the Ministry of Finance, innovation is part of our culture. It pushes us toward our goal of global leadership in the financial sector.
