UAE Joins Important Arab League Meeting in Cairo

Cairo: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) took part in a big meeting of Arab countries in Cairo, Egypt. This was the 163rd session of the Arab League Council, where leaders and representatives from Arab nations came together to talk about important topics. The UAE was represented by Mariam AlKaabi, who is the UAE’s ambassador to Egypt and the country’s representative at the Arab League.
During the meeting, the leaders talked about many things from politics and money to safety and peace. One of the most important parts of the meeting was how to work better together as Arab countries to solve problems and help each other. They also talked a lot about the Palestinian cause, including peace efforts, Israeli actions in Jerusalem, and how to support the Palestinian people.
Other issues discussed included:
- Conflicts in places like Libya, Yemen, Syria, and Sudan
- Iran’s occupation of three UAE islands
- Keeping the Arabian Gulf safe for ships and energy
- Turkey’s presence in Iraq
- Water security in the Arab world
- Helping countries like Somalia, Lebanon, and the Comoros
The meeting showed how Arab countries are trying to stand together and support each other during tough times.
