UAE Flag Day 2025 Brings Pride and Unity Across the Emirates

On November 3, 2025, the UAE celebrated Flag Day with joy and pride. The day marks the start of the National Month, leading up to the 54th UAE National Day on December 2.

Flag Day is held every year to remember when the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan became President in 2004. It stands for unity, loyalty, and love for the nation. At exactly 11 AM, flags were raised across all emirates. Government offices, schools, and landmarks joined together in this national moment. In Dubai, a special “Flag Garden” at Umm Suqeim Beach showed pictures of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid made from hundreds of UAE flags.

Dubai also launched the National Month, a celebration full of concerts, fireworks, light shows, and heritage events until National Day. Many people hope for a five-day weekend if December 1 is added as a holiday. Over one million workers took part in celebrations, and places like Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi hosted cultural shows, markets, and art events. The flag’s colors tell a story red for bravery, green for growth, white for peace, and black for strength.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan raised the national flag at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi and said Flag Day is a time to reflect on the country’s journey and look forward to the future. UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum called on everyone in the country to raise the flag at 11 AM and celebrate the UAE’s unity. Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed raised the flag at Zayed National Museum and praised the UAE’s progress and innovation.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan raised the flag at Al Dhafra Fort and wished continued success for the nation. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum shared a message of loyalty and pride, saying the UAE is a country that never gives up. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, CEO of DEWA, raised the flag with employees, showing pride and love for the nation.

As the National Month continues, excitement is growing for the UAE National Day on December 2. Big celebrations, fireworks, and parades are planned across the country. The main ceremony where the rulers will attend will be announced soon. Flag Day reminds everyone that the UAE flag stands for strength, peace, and unity a symbol of a proud nation moving forward together.
