UAE Crown Prince Visits Belarus to Boost Trade and Friendship

MINSK: His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, visited Belarus and met with President Alexander Lukashenko at the Palace of Independence in Minsk.
President Lukashenko welcomed the Crown Prince warmly and said Belarus and the UAE have a strong friendship. He shared his hopes to keep growing this partnership in many areas that help both countries.
Sheikh Khaled brought greetings from UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and wished Belarus continued peace and success. In return, President Lukashenko sent his best wishes to the UAE leadership and people.
During the meeting, both leaders talked about working together more in business, investment, education, and healthcare. They also discussed the importance of peace and working together for a better future.
A key part of the visit was the signing of a Trade in Services and Investment Agreement (TISIA). This deal will allow UAE businesses to grow in Belarus and encourage more joint projects between both countries.
Belarus is becoming a strong trade partner for the UAE. In 2024, non-oil trade between the two countries reached $3.9 billion, a big increase compared to previous years. Several UAE officials joined the visit, showing the importance of the relationship between the two nations.
