UAE Cleaning Services Fully Booked After Heavy Rain, Car Washes Get Ready for Busy Days
Cleaning companies and car wash centers across the UAE are very busy after two days of heavy rain. Many homes and cars were damaged by rainwater, mud, and dirt, so people are now calling experts for help.
Families in many areas are dealing with wet carpets, muddy floors, and water inside their homes. Some cars were also left stuck in flooded streets. Because of this, many residents are asking cleaning teams to make their homes and vehicles clean and safe again. Cleaning companies said they have been getting calls all day since the rain began. Many teams are already fully booked for the next three days.
Abdullah from Al Wahda Cleaning said workers have been moving from one home to another without a break. He said many ground-floor apartments were affected the most. The teams are now busy drying homes, disinfecting rooms, and removing bad smells caused by the water. He added that the company usually does normal cleaning, but now most people need deep cleaning because of water damage. Because of the sudden rise in demand, workers are staying on the job for longer hours.
Facility management companies are also seeing more work, especially in bigger places like villas, apartment buildings, and commercial properties.
Mohammed Abu Hamdan, owner of A and M Facility Management in Ajman, said his teams have been working extra shifts. He explained that many buildings and villas called for help after water entered basements and parking areas. He said the work is not only about cleaning. In some places, teams are also checking electrical systems and making sure buildings are safe for residents before people return to normal life.
Car wash businesses are also preparing for a big rush. Some operators said demand has already started to increase, while others believe the busiest days are still coming. Staff at Prowash said more cars have already started coming in. Many vehicles are covered in mud and dirt after the rain, and workers are busy throughout the day.
However, some car washers in parking areas and malls said the real rush will likely begin after water levels go down. Many drivers are still waiting before they move or start their cars.
Mustafa, a car washer in Al Nahda, Sharjah, said many cars are still parked or stuck in water. He said once people begin using their cars again, cleaning centers can expect a much larger number of customers. He added that workers may need to stay open longer in the next few days because cars usually become very dirty after heavy rain.
This rise in demand shows how badly the heavy rain affected daily life in the UAE. For now, cleaning teams and car wash workers are staying busy as families try to return to normal.
