UAE and US Presidents Discuss Stronger Strategic Ties in Phone Call

Abu Dhabi, March 26, 2025: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and US President Donald Trump held a phone call to discuss ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and the United States.

The two leaders talked about enhancing cooperation in key areas such as technology, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and energy. The conversation followed the recent official visit to the US by Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser. That visit led to the signing of major agreements that will boost future collaboration between the two countries.

They also spoke about important regional and global developments, focusing on the Middle East and efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed emphasized the need to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to Gaza and highlighted the UAE’s continued support for the two-state solution as a path to lasting peace and stability in the region.

President Sheikh Mohamed reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to working closely with the United States to support peace, stability, and development—not only in the region but across the world.

Both leaders agreed to keep building on their strategic relationship to serve the shared goals and interests of both nations.
