UAE and Egypt Presidents Honor Military Academy Graduates in Cairo
Cairo: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE leader, and Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended the graduation ceremony for cadets at Egypt’s military academy. The event marked a significant moment in Sheikh Mohamed’s official visit to Egypt.
Leaders Welcomed with Military Honours
Upon arriving at the Egyptian Military Academy, Sheikh Mohamed and President El-Sisi were greeted with military honours. Lieutenant General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, along with Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff, and other senior military officials, welcomed the leaders.
The event featured a guard of honour and performances of the national anthems of both the UAE and Egypt. During the ceremony, helicopters flew overhead, displaying the flags of both nations and the branches of Egypt’s armed forces.
Sheikh Mohamed Signs VIP Guestbook
Sheikh Mohamed expressed his delight to be part of this important occasion, signing the VIP guestbook. He extended his wishes for Egypt’s continued progress and success.

Also present at the ceremony were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Adviser for Special Affairs at the Presidential Court. Several members of the UAE delegation accompanying Sheikh Mohamed were in attendance.
