SIF–WIC 2025 Highlights Bold Plans for Global Growth

Sharjah: The second day of the Sharjah Investment Forum–World Investment Conference (SIF–WIC 2025) featured a talk titled “Scaling Change Through Investment,” focusing on how leadership, funding, and storytelling are shaping global business.
Speakers included Amira Sajwani, Managing Director of DAMAC Properties and CEO of PRYPCO, and John Aguilar, founder of The Final Pitch in Asia. Sajwani said DAMAC’s success comes from innovation, teamwork, and keeping promises. She noted that technology is transforming real estate, making it more transparent and accessible, with the UAE leading this change.
Aguilar said that growing a business is not only about funding but also about mindset and storytelling. “A strong story helps startups attract investors and expand globally,” he said.
The session highlighted Sharjah’s rising role as a global center for investment and innovation. Organized by Invest in Sharjah and WAIPA, SIF–WIC 2025 gathered over 10,000 participants from 142 countries under the theme “Transforming Our World: Investing for a Resilient and Sustainable Future.”
