Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, joined a special celebration at the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi. The event was held to mark the 73rd anniversary of Egypt’s 23rd July Revolution.
The Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE, Sherif Mahmoud Said Eissa, welcomed many important guests. These included top UAE officials, Arab and international diplomats, and members of the Egyptian community living in the UAE.
During the event, Ambassador Sherif Eissa spoke about the strong friendship between Egypt and the UAE. He said this bond began long ago, thanks to the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
He also shared some exciting news. Over the past two years, the relationship between Egypt and the UAE has grown even stronger. The UAE has now invested almost 70 billion dollars in Egypt, more than any other country.
One of the biggest projects is the Ras El Hekma development on Egypt’s northern coast. Trade between the two countries is also very strong, with over 4 billion dollars in trade each year.
The event showed how much both countries care about each other and want to continue working together for a better future.
