Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Honours Winners of Great Arab Minds 2024 Awards

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, honoured six outstanding individuals as winners of the Great Arab Minds 2024 Awards during a ceremony at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.

This initiative, the largest of its kind in the Arab world, celebrates exceptional Arab contributors who have advanced humanity across various fields.

Celebrating Arab Excellence

The Great Arab Minds 2024 Awards recognised six extraordinary achievers from the Arab world:

• Engineering and Technology:
  Syrian Professor Oussama Khatib was honoured for his groundbreaking contributions.
• Literature and Arts:
  Iraqi artist Dia Al-Azzawi received recognition for his creative achievements.
• Natural Sciences:
  Jordanian scientist Professor Omar Yaghi was celebrated for his remarkable work in science.
• Medicine:
  Algerian researcher Professor Yasmine Belkaid was awarded for her pioneering medical research.
• Architecture and Design:
  Jordanian engineer Sahel Al-Hiyari was acknowledged for his innovative designs.
• Economics:
  Algerian Professor Yacine Aït-Sahalia was honoured for his significant contributions to economics.
