Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, said that he chaired a meeting of The Executive Council where several new plans were approved. These include a new model for planning citizens’ residential areas and a Digital Resilience Policy that will support Dubai’s position as a leader in the digital world. The council also approved its Agenda for 2026, which is in line with the Dubai Plan 2033 and its economic and social goals.
Sheikh Hamdan explained that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum focus on the welfare of citizens and their families. He said this is the main foundation for all of Dubai’s future plans. He added that the aim is to turn citizens’ residential areas into active and lively neighbourhoods with high-quality facilities and services.
He also said that Dubai wants to give all citizens a better life, more opportunities for their families, and a brighter future for the next generations.
