Sharjah: Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) recently held a special meeting led by Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi to discuss future plans after achieving great success last year. At the meeting, held at the BEEAH Group headquarters, leaders from business, education, and the government talked about making Sharjah a top place for new ideas and inventions.

Sheikha Bodour thanked everyone for their efforts and emphasized teamwork. She said, “SRTIP is an example of how cooperation helps create solutions in healthcare, transportation, sustainability, and manufacturing.” CEO Hussain Al Mahmoudi presented the achievements from 2024, including major projects and attracting new businesses. He explained that in 2025, SRTIP will focus on better infrastructure, attracting more companies, and supporting innovation.

Al Mahmoudi said, “With guidance from our board and partners, we’re entering a very exciting phase to boost innovation and compete globally.” Plans discussed included improving facilities, strategic use of land, and partnerships like Base39. They highlighted innovation in key areas: healthcare, transportation, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing.

The meeting also emphasized closer ties with universities like AUS and UOS, attracting talented people, and enhancing small businesses through programs like SoiLab. Updates were shared about brand visibility, digital improvements, and team development. The board reviewed finances to ensure future stability and visited the “Naseej: Threads of Hope” exhibition afterward.

SRTIP continues to lead Sharjah’s growth as a city known for creativity and innovation.
