Sharjah: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) held a special event called “Towards a Secure, Digitally Enabled Institutional Society”. This forum was made possible with help from the Sharjah Cyber Security Centre and Sharjah Police. It was held at the Holy Quran Academy and brought together leaders from many government departments in the emirate.

The goal of the forum was to talk about how to make digital life safer and smarter for everyone in Sharjah. As more services go online, it’s important to keep information protected and build trust in the digital systems people use every day.

Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi, who leads the Sharjah Digital Department, said this event shows how serious Sharjah is about becoming a strong digital city. He explained that the forum is a place where people can work together, learn from each other, and create safe ways to use technology.

Other speakers, like Abdullah Ibrahim Al Zaabie, said the event follows the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah. The goal is to build a smart government that protects its data and works in a safe digital space.

Engineer Abdul Nasser Bu Khater, Director of the Sharjah Cyber Security Centre, said teamwork is key to fighting cyber threats. He stressed that all parts of the government must work together to keep digital services secure.

Experts at the forum, including police officers from the digital crimes unit, gave talks about keeping data safe, understanding cyber risks, and making sure government systems are protected.

This event was an important step in helping Sharjah become a safer and smarter place in the digital world, where everyone from workers to families can trust the systems they use every day.
