Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 Set to Welcome Over 12,000 Attendees

Sharjah: The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2025, the largest event of its kind in the region, is gearing up to host more than 12,000 attendees on February 1-2 at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park. The event will feature over 250 activities, including workshops, masterclasses, and discussions aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and fostering innovation.

Diverse Activities to Empower Entrepreneurs

SEF 2025 will offer 45 specially curated workshops and masterclasses covering essential topics like business development, finance, mental health, and global expansion. Designed to cater to the entrepreneurial journey, these sessions aim to equip attendees with practical skills to thrive in competitive markets.

The festival will expand its scope across 10 specialized zones and five stages, with a strong focus on personal well-being and sustainability. One of the highlights is the Sustainability & Wellness Zone, powered by Emaar, which brings together over 50 regional and international experts on the Balance Stage.

Key Workshops and Expert-Led Sessions

• Navigating Startup Challenges: Hosted by Caroline-Lucie Ulbrich and Melissa Yacoub, this session offers strategies to help entrepreneurs overcome setbacks and build resilient teams, addressing the fact that nearly 90% of startups fail.
• Career Guidance for Graduates: Aqsa Khalifa and Alistair Aranha will lead a workshop focused on job hunting, personal branding, and networking, providing tools for career growth and success.
• Tax and Business Strategies in the UAE: Andersen (UAE) will host a workshop tailored to UAE entrepreneurs, covering critical business and tax strategies.
• Mental Health in Business: Dr. Adel Karrani will highlight stress management techniques, resilience-building, and the importance of supportive work environments.
• Introduction to Robotics: Mohammed Saeed Almazrouie will conduct a hands-on workshop on robot design, programming, and control systems, perfect for tech enthusiasts.

SEF 2025 will host over 300 global speakers from 45 countries, reflecting its theme, “Where We Belong.” CEO of Sheraa, Sara Abdelaziz Al Nuaimi, highlighted the festival’s mission to nurture leadership and innovation, while Ahmad Al Matrooshi of Emaar emphasized the importance of well-being and sustainable growth.
