Riyadh: The head of the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA), Mohammed Alharthi, met with the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Omar Lebbe Ameer Ajwad, in Riyadh.
They talked about how Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka can work together in media. This includes making TV programs, sharing content, and learning from each other’s media experiences. They also discussed training people from both countries to help them grow in the media field.
The SBA said it would show Saudi Arabia to the people of Sri Lanka through its programs. These shows will talk about Saudi Arabia’s future plans and big projects. This will help both countries understand each other better and become closer friends.
The meeting also included a talk about the Saudi Media Forum. The Sri Lankan Embassy might take part in the next event. Both sides agreed it’s important to make the forum more known around the world because it is the biggest media gathering in the region.
