Saudi Winter Calendar Unveiled: Over 1,000 Events and Attractions Across the Kingdom

Riyadh: The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) has officially launched the “Saudi Winter” events calendar for 2024-2025, featuring a variety of exciting activities across seven key destinations in the Kingdom. The events, starting this October, will continue through the first quarter of 2025, covering cities such as Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Ula, the Red Sea, Eastern Province, Madinah, and Hail.
Over 1,000 Experiences Await Tourists
As part of the Saudi Winter program, the events calendar includes over 1,000 unique tourism experiences and more than 500 distinctive shows. These events feature major seasons like Riyadh Season, Diriyah Season, Al-Ula Season, Madinah Season, and Jeddah Calendar. Additionally, high-profile events such as the Dakar Rally, MDL Beast, Saudi Cruise, and the Islamic Arts Biennale will also be hosted. Adventurous offerings like hiking trails, winter camps, and caravan trips will be available to visitors as well.
Exclusive Offers and Discounts
Tourists can explore the “Saudi Winter” program and discover a range of special offers and discounts on the Spirit of Saudi Arabia platform. The first phase of this program offers more than 50 exclusive deals in partnership with the private sector, allowing travelers to enjoy affordable packages and experiences.
Support from Leadership and the Private Sector
His Excellency Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Saudi Tourism Authority, announced the launch of the Saudi Winter program. He emphasized the critical role of leadership support and the collaboration between the public and private sectors in making the winter events possible.
“With unprecedented support from the wise leadership, and the combined efforts of our tourism partners, we are launching this year’s winter events with a record-breaking ambition,” said Al-Khateeb. He highlighted that these efforts aim to attract even more local and international tourists, showcasing the Kingdom’s natural beauty and diverse climate.

Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO and Board Member of the Saudi Tourism Authority, welcomed tourists from around the world to experience Saudi Arabia’s growing tourism offerings. He noted that this year’s events are three times larger than last year, with a broader range of activities and exclusive deals to cater to all types of visitors.
