Washington, D.C. – The Saudi Transport General Authority (TGA) successfully took part in the 104th Annual Transportation Research Board (TRB) Meeting held at the Walter Washington Conference Center in Washington, D.C.
During the event, the TGA presented a scientific paper titled “Applying the Financial and Economic Evaluation Model of Railways Between Saudi Cities.” This paper showcased an innovative model designed to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of future railway projects in Saudi Arabia. The study aligns with sustainable development goals and fosters collaboration with international experts and researchers.

Led by Dr. Omaimah Bamasag, Deputy of Transport Enablement, the TGA team conducted meetings with international transport authorities and companies. These discussions focused on sharing knowledge, exploring global experiences, and identifying best practices in modern transport systems.
