Saudi Royal Adviser Visits Sharjah Quran Academy

SHARJAH: Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, an adviser to the Saudi Royal Court and Imam of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, visited the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah.

During his visit, he learned about the Academy’s work in teaching and preserving the Holy Quran. He praised His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, for creating this important place. The Academy has rare Quran manuscripts and items from famous Quran reciters. It also runs an online reading platform used by students in 172 countries and supports research and Quran museums.

The visit was part of a Quran conference hosted by the University of Sharjah. The guests were welcomed by Dr. Khalifa Al Tunaiji and other leaders from the Academy. Sheikh Dr. Saleh said the Academy is a special center for learning and sharing Quranic knowledge around the world.
