Saudi Arabia: The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA) has achieved a significant milestone by issuing the first maritime tourism agent license to Cruise Saudi, a company owned by the Public Investment Fund.

Mohammed Bukhari, VP for Coastal Tourism Operations at SRSA, presented the license to Barbara Buczek, CEO of Destination Experiences at Cruise Saudi, underscoring the authority’s commitment to developing the coastal tourism sector.

Regulating Coastal Tourism Activities

This initiative aims to regulate and streamline coastal tourism activities, ensuring adherence to sustainable marine navigational practices and facilitating vessel movements within the Kingdom’s waters.
