Saudi Paralympic Committee Signs MoU with Poland in Seoul

Seoul: Prince Fahad bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz, head of the Saudi delegation, signed an important agreement with Lukasz Szeliga, President of the Polish Paralympic Committee. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) aims to boost cooperation, share knowledge, and improve programs, tournaments, and services for Paralympic athletes in both Saudi Arabia and Poland.

The signing took place during the General Assembly of the Paralympic Committee in Seoul. The event was attended by Abdulaziz Baeshen, CEO and Secretary-General of the Saudi Paralympic Committee, along with many international Paralympic leaders.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Prince Fahad also met with Rocky Harris, Chief of Sport at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. They discussed ways to work together and exchange expertise to help grow Paralympic sports worldwide.

In other news, Brazilian Andrew Parsons was re-elected as President of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) for a third four-year term. He won 109 votes against 68 for his South Korean competitor, Dong Bae, and will continue to lead the IPC until 2028.
