Saudi National Water Co. Launches Major Qassim Projects
The National Water Company (NWC) has commenced work on 14 vital water and environmental projects across the Qassim region. This ambitious initiative, valued at over SR561 million ($149.56 million), aims to enhance water and environmental services, expand coverage, and meet the region’s growing demands.
The NWC has earmarked SR283 million for seven environmental projects, including the construction of a 1,350 cubic meter per day lifting station and the development of over 329,000 meters of sewage lines and networks.
In parallel, the company is investing SR278 million in seven water projects. These initiatives involve extending networks and lines by more than 833,000 linear meters and implementing a waterway system for the Al-Mukharram and Umm Hazm wells.
These projects underscore the NWC’s commitment to improving water infrastructure and environmental sustainability in Qassim.
