Saudi National Cultural Awards Winners Honored

• Cultural Pioneer Award: Dr. Saad Al-Suwaian received this award for his extensive scientific, literary, and cultural contributions over many years.
• Youth Cultural Award: This award was given to author and artist Diaa Youssef for her impactful work.
• Business Owners Award: Badr Al-Buwardi was recognized for his family’s efforts in preserving cultural heritage.
• International Cultural Excellence Award: The organization “Turquoise Mountain” was honored for its global efforts in protecting heritage and communities.

In the institutional categories, the Cultural Institutions Award (for-profit) went to MBC Group, while the non-profit category was awarded to the King Faisal Foundation.

Minister’s Remarks

Prince Badr emphasized that these awards serve as a supportive umbrella for talent and creativity. He stated, “The Ministry of Culture has been keen to adopt a strategy to develop cultural capabilities, in an extended and integrated journey with partners in various sectors.”
