Saudi Minister Pushes for Strong Gaming Partnerships at Global Sport Conference

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah Alswaha, met with top leaders from some of the biggest gaming and tech companies in the world during the New Global Sport Conference 2025 in Riyadh.
The main goal of these meetings was to create stronger partnerships that will help bring more gaming and technology jobs to Saudi Arabia. The Minister also wants to support Saudi-made creative content so that local talent can shine on the global stage.
These efforts are part of Saudi Vision 2030, a national plan to grow the digital economy, encourage innovation, and make Saudi Arabia a leading hub for gaming and esports.
By working with international companies, the Kingdom aims to give young people more opportunities, grow the gaming sector, and build a stronger future for digital entertainment.
