Saudi Minister Leads Islamic World Endowment Conference
1 min readSaudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh presided over the 14th executive council meeting of the Conference of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic World. The gathering took place in Makkah on Saturday.
Focus on Moderation and Islamic Values
A key highlight of the meeting was the unanimous approval of the agenda for the upcoming 9th Conference of Ministers of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs. This three-day event, scheduled to conclude on August 5, will delve into the crucial role of Islamic affairs ministries in promoting moderation and strengthening core Islamic values.
The council also extended an invitation to Morocco to host the 15th executive council meeting.
This conference serves as a platform for Islamic nations to collaborate on matters related to endowments and Islamic affairs. By fostering dialogue and cooperation, the member states aim to enhance their collective efforts in upholding Islamic principles and addressing contemporary challenges.
