Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, launched Industry Day at the Airbus Helicopters site in France. The event brought together Saudi and French companies to talk about working together in the aerospace industry.

Alkhorayef said Saudi Arabia wants to build more helicopters, airplanes, and drones at home. This is part of the country’s big plan called Vision 2030, which helps grow the economy in new ways.

He invited Airbus and its partners to invest in Saudi Arabia and help create a strong, green, and high-tech aviation industry. The Kingdom is offering SAR10 billion in opportunities for things like drone building and aircraft repair.

The visit is also part of a bigger mission to grow partnerships in industry, mining, and food.
