Saudi Health Ministry Starts New Biotech Program

Boston: The Saudi Ministry of Health has started a new project called the “Biotech Accelerator” to help young companies working in science and health. This was announced by Vice Minister Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih at a big health event called BIO 2025 in Boston, USA.

This new program will support Saudi businesses that are trying to make healthcare better by using science and technology. It will also help them work with partners from around the world. The goal is to bring new health ideas to life, support smart startups, and improve hospitals and treatments in Saudi Arabia.

This plan is part of Saudi Vision 2030, which is a big plan to make life better in Saudi Arabia and help the country grow. It also follows the Health Sector Transformation Program and the National Biotechnology Strategy. These efforts want to make Saudi Arabia a world leader in health innovation.

The Biotech Accelerator is the first program of its kind in the country, and it’s also the first time BioLabs (a company that helps health startups) is working in the Middle East. The program will run for seven months, offering training, special help, and access to labs where companies can test their ideas.

This project is a big step for Saudi Arabia in making better health solutions for the future.
