Saudi Delegation Signs Over 17 Agreements at BIO International Convention in Boston
The Saudi delegation has wrapped up its participation at the BIO International Convention held in Boston, USA, after signing more than 17 important agreements with global organizations. These agreements were made to strengthen partnerships and boost Saudi Arabia’s role in the world of health innovation.
The event, which took place at the Saudi pavilion, was led by the Ministry of Health. It included representatives from 25 public and private organizations. Their goal was to promote cooperation in biotechnology and health, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan. This plan aims to build a healthy, vibrant society and a thriving economy for the future.
The Saudi pavilion was one of the largest at the convention and was the Kingdom’s first-ever participation. It attracted over 6,000 visitors in just four days. The pavilion hosted important discussions, including a high-level panel, and welcomed more than 300 decision-makers and business leaders. It also featured the launch of the “Biotechnology Accelerator,” which involves eight Saudi startup companies.
As part of their visit, the Saudi delegation traveled to San Francisco, where they met with representatives from leading global companies and research institutions. Over 50 meetings were held to explore possible collaborations and share knowledge in biotechnology and health innovation.
This participation shows how Saudi Arabia is becoming a leader in biotechnology and health innovation, strengthening its position as a rising global hub for the future of health and technology.
