KUALA LUMPUR: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment took part in a big international event called the ASEAN-GCC-China Economic Forum. This important meeting happened in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia, from May 27 to May 29, 2025.
People from many countries came together, including those from Southeast Asia (called ASEAN), the Gulf countries (GCC), and China. The Saudi Ministry went with a team of people from both the government and private companies.
The goal of the trip was to show off Saudi Arabia as a great place to invest money and start new businesses. The Ministry wants people to learn about Saudi Arabia’s big plans to grow its economy, especially under Vision 2030, which is a long-term plan to make the country stronger and less dependent on oil.
On the first day of the forum, the Ministry of Investment held a special meeting called “Enhancing Investments between GCC, ASEAN, and China.” In this session, they shared ideas and new projects to help countries work better together, invest in each other, and grow together.
This visit shows that Saudi Arabia is serious about working with other countries to create jobs, build new businesses, and make the future better for everyone.
