Jeddah: Saudi Arabia received 19.5 million Hajj and Umrah pilgrims from outside the country in 2025, marking one of the highest numbers in its history. Officials said more than 90 percent of visitors were satisfied with the services provided during their religious journey.
The National Center for Performance Measurement of Public Entities (Adaa) reported that the strong numbers show how fast Saudi Arabia is improving services for pilgrims. These upgrades are part of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on better facilities, smoother travel, and higher service quality.
The Pilgrim Experience Program, a key Vision 2030 project, said improvements were made across both the Hajj and Umrah seasons. The program measured a 91 percent satisfaction rate among Hajj pilgrims and 94 percent among Umrah performers.

Officials said the success came from careful planning and teamwork between more than 60 government and service agencies working together to support pilgrims at every step, from arrival to departure.
Authorities added that serving pilgrims at the Two Holy Mosques remains a top national duty. Leaders continue to direct resources each year to improve readiness, safety, and comfort for all Hajj and Umrah visitors.
These record Hajj and Umrah figures for 2025 highlight Saudi Arabia’s growing capacity and ongoing efforts to provide better services for pilgrims from around the world.
