Saudi Arabia Launches Future Adviser Program to Empower Young Law Graduates
The Center of Legal Studies and Research in Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of the second Future Adviser Program to Empower Young Law Graduates, designed to cultivate the next generation of legal professionals.
The program offers a unique opportunity for outstanding Saudi law graduates to hone their legal skills and gain valuable practical experience. Through intensive training and mentorship from specialist advisers, participants will develop expertise in legal and regulatory consultation and legislative drafting.
Eligibility and Benefits
The program is open to recent Saudi law graduates (2023-2024) with exceptional academic records (minimum GPA of 3.75/5 or 2.75/4). In addition to strong academic performance, candidates must be under 27 years old with limited practical experience (less than 6 months). Furthermore, they must be free from current employment or academic commitments. English language proficiency is also required (minimum score of 4.5 in IELTS, 70 in STEP, or 460 in TOEFL).
Transitioning to the benefits: The program offers a comprehensive package for participants. Selected graduates will benefit from a monthly stipend, medical insurance for themselves and their families, and will participate in a range of training and development programs designed to foster both professional and personal growth.
Selection Process
Applications for the Future Adviser Program can be submitted online through the Center’s website during a two-week window. The application period opens on July 15 and closes on July 29. A two-stage selection process will be followed. In the first stage, initial applications meeting the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted. Following this, applicants will be required to take cognitive and legal ability tests. The final stage of the selection process involves personal interviews, medical examinations, and fulfillment of official requirements.
The Future Adviser Program represents a significant investment in the future of Saudi Arabia’s legal sector. By taking this important step, the program aims to nurture young talent and equip them with specialized skills. This focus on building a strong foundation will ensure a highly qualified and competent legal workforce in the years to come.
