Saudi Arabia is taking part in the BIO International Convention 2025, held in Boston from June 16 to 19. The event is the world’s biggest gathering for biotechnology, where countries and companies share new ideas in health and science.
The Saudi team is led by the Ministry of Health and includes more than 25 groups from the government, private sector, and research centers. Their goal is to show Saudi Arabia’s progress in biotechnology and attract new investments in health and science.
This move supports the National Biotechnology Strategy, launched by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and is part of Saudi Vision 2030. It aims to make the Kingdom a leader in health innovation and scientific research in the region.
Engineer Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih, Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, is leading the delegation. He said Saudi Arabia wants to work with other countries and bring new medical solutions to the world.
The event helps Saudi Arabia share its latest research, find new partners, and support the country’s growing biotech sector.
