Saudi Arabia Distributes Dates in Burkina Faso and Japan During Ramadan

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has implemented the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Dates Distribution Program in Burkina Faso and Japan as part of its Ramadan initiatives.

Date Distribution in Burkina Faso

On the sixth day of Ramadan 1446 AH, the program was carried out at the Saudi embassy in Burkina Faso. The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador Fahd Al-Dosari and several officials. A total of five tons of high-quality dates were distributed, benefiting around 20,000 people.

Date Distribution in Japan

In Japan, the program took place on the 11th of Ramadan 1446 AH at the Saudi embassy in Tokyo. The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Japan Dr. Ghazi Binzagr and other dignitaries. The initiative provided three tons of dates, reaching approximately 12,000 individuals.

Saudi Arabia’s Global Humanitarian Efforts

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is implementing this program in 102 countries, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving Islam and supporting Muslims worldwide. The initiative highlights the Kingdom’s dedication to spreading goodwill and strengthening international ties during the holy month of Ramadan.
