Saudi Arabia Builds Smart Transport Testing Area at KAUST

Jeddah: Saudi Arabia has launched the “Future Mobility Sandbox” at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). This high-tech area is made to test new ways of travel, like self-driving cars, flying taxis, and delivery drones.
The project will help make transport safer, create jobs, and protect the environment. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s big plan to become a world leader in smart and clean transportation by 2029.
Experts will test new ideas using AI, clean energy, and big data. The government also plans to build factories and train Saudi talent for the future of transport.
