Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Alkhorayef, met with the United States Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, at the ministry office in Riyadh on Sunday.
During the meeting, both leaders talked about how their countries can work more closely together in the mining sector. They want to help each other find and use important minerals that are needed for clean energy, electric cars, and new technologies.
They also spoke about how minerals play a big role in helping the world move to cleaner energy and in building modern tools and machines. These minerals are very important for things like batteries and electric vehicles. The two sides looked at new business and investment opportunities between Saudi Arabia and the US. They want to grow their partnership and support each other in big, valuable projects.
Minister Alkhorayef invited the US Energy Secretary to come back to Saudi Arabia next year for the Future Minerals Forum, which will take place in Riyadh. This meeting shows how both countries are working together to create a better and cleaner future using smart technology and important natural resources.
