Riyadh: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have agreed on a new defence pact to make their friendship even stronger. The deal was signed in Riyadh during the visit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, signed the agreement along with Prime Minister Sharif. Both leaders said this step shows how close the two countries are and how they support each other in every way.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the agreement means that if one country is attacked, the other will also treat it as an attack on itself. This shows that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are ready to stand side by side for peace and security.

This new defence pact is another sign of the strong partnership and trust between Riyadh and Islamabad.
