Saudi Arabia and Boeing Partner for Aerospace Talent Development

The Saudi Communications, Space and Technology Commission has joined forces with Boeing to launch a comprehensive aerospace engineering training program. This month-long initiative aims to equip Saudi students with practical skills and knowledge essential for the burgeoning space sector.

The program offers participants invaluable hands-on experience with cutting-edge space technologies. Through a combination of theoretical and practical learning, students will gain a deep understanding of aerospace engineering and sciences. Boeing’s expertise will be instrumental in shaping the next generation of Saudi space professionals.

The first phase of the program will take place at a Boeing facility in Texas, where students will delve into advanced architectural design studies, including lunar and Martian mission concepts. In the second phase, participants will collaborate on real-world projects at a Boeing site in Alabama, focusing on developing a carbon dioxide removal system for potential use in lunar and Martian environments.
